Abstract

One of the most popular festivals that are held in the state of Yucatan is celebrated on the days December 24 - 25 and January 5-6 in the eastern communities of the state. A celebration that came with the evangelization and, until now, it is still carried out. In these festivals, the human side is noticeable; the inspiring of the tradition is the unity bond between communities.
