The objective of this paper is to characterize the contributions of a new aspect of anthropological thought called Relationism, which invites us to abandon what is considered as the whole and the parts. For this task, a theoretical revision of the contemporary debates of this discipline was carried out in order to systematize its main postulates. As a result, it is observed that, from this analytical perspective, the object of study is considered as emergent; secondly, the causal models are redefined from the logic of the processes; finally, the notion of context is reconfigured through the mapping of scales. This paper allows us to conclude that the abandonment of the culture/nature opposition by means of the contributions of Relationalism leads to the transformation of the premises and strategies that guide anthropological research.
