Abstract

From a multidisciplinary perspective, it is to put dialogue into history and archeology in order to achieve in the future to a closer dialogue. The methodology used was reflective. Parts from epistemology and theory of contemporary history to criticize the traditional meaning of prehistory and propose one convergent with the theory of history proposal, which eliminates the anachronisms that brings the traditional look on the prehistory of positivism inherited. Once these assumptions of history and archeology have been criticized, it is proposed, based on the theory of the history presented, archeology and history have an isomorphism related to the methods applied and the objects the study has, revealing to both disciplines as incomplete. Without a hierarchical epistemological status, history and archeology would have to unite to multiply transdisciplinary methods, as suggested by the premise of Paul Feyerabend and so the new discipline achieved a scientific revolution in the Kuhnian sense. Being this article a multidisciplinary approach, we conclude that the results are given as a hypothesis, it would be required to follow an interdisciplinary approach for corroboration.
