Abstract

The change of religious adscription represents in the converted one a significant “experience of life”, we refer to the vast process for which the individuals decide to live their system of beliefs and adopt a new one and then, change their form of life. The speak about the change of religious profession, is speak about the change, and the above mentioned, implies crisis, decisions, identity, conjunctures, etc. The insertion of a new religious profession, will generate a gradual process of construction of a new identity, constructed from the “new belief”, but not only as a reproduction of new rules of acting, but as a process of construction in the incorporation of new practices, values, symbols and beliefs that will control to this “new religious being”.
